Slowing down the time

Slowing down the time

When we are in a hurry our mind speed up. That’s when we felt time is moving so fast. The idea is not actually slowing the universal time, but we speed up so that the world slowing down. This “hurry” creates anxiety, anxiety makes time goes faster. And not only that, anxiety can create chaos. Everything you do might go wrong.

Have you ever be in a hurry when you want to go to work or school? That’s the time I think you almost forget anything but driving in such hurry. That’s also the time when you usually get stuck in traffic, get lost in the way, having an accident.

Or in another scenario when you have to do a work that needs to be done right away. You do the work as fast as you can, and finally the result isn’t that satisfied. You got a lot of mistake here and there. That’s the side effect.

Another familiar case of time getting speed up is when you asked to talk in front of so many people. Your mind goes into rushing mode. You can’t think of anything to say, and this is once again create anxiety. You’re sweating and your body start shaking. This moment you might felt something happening so fast, you’ll say the words so fast, you want everything done as soon as possible but in fact it’s already speeds up.

If you happen to be in the audience position, you might feel otherwise. Times working so slow and hoping it’s getting faster, but it can’t because they’re in the relaxed position. Nothing caused them anxiety, unless when they called to speak on stage they might felt it.

Okay, how do I slows down the time?

Now you got the ideas. It’s all in your head. To slow down the time, first you have to ease up. Stop for a while, clear your mind and say to your self, “it’s okay to be here on stage” or “it’s okay that I’m might be late” or “it’s okay that the time is short” then decide what you want to do next. By getting relaxed first, you can do better. The subconscious is working best in relaxed condition. If you pushed it, it will work ineffectively.

You might say “how can I ease up when my time is almost up!” But stop for 5 to 10 seconds to clear your head wouldn’t getting you killed. Trust me. When the time slowing down, you’ll do anything faster than ever with high accuracy. You’ll find that the 5 to 10 seconds you spend to get ease up is amazingly worth it!

Good luck!
