Road Traffic
When the working time has finished. John saw from inside his office to the street in front of his office and told Doe about this: “Hey bro, it’s traffic jam from up here! Let’s just wait one hour then we can go home smoothly!”

Does this looks suicidal to you?
Yes I jump that gap, I run over that rail, sometimes I even roll on gravel. Pretty hurt? Sometimes. One thing for sure, I never got serious injury that stop me from training. Day by day I train, not only my mental improved but my mindset as well. When you saw me training you’ll have so many thought about this sport: I should do that extremely super-duper-hyper-fast-daredevil-esque series of suicidal leaps across rooftops and down several stories, when in fact these feats are practiced only by the most experienced traceurs and constitute an incredibly minuscule portion of the overall art, most of which is an unglamorous, but creative and rapid, series of vaults over everyday objects.
I’m not sorry if you’re wrong about the sport. I even doesn’t called it sport.. but whatever makes you happy. I won’t describe the true definition here as I know you should already knew it.. fluid baby.. fluid! not extreme.
There are some statement I often heard since I start doing parkour:
You’re a monkey!

Monkeying
Of course I do what monkey do, it isn’t usual. But that’s not turn me into monkey. Although I never regret it, not a single moment. Instead, I say “sure, wanna try? It’s good to be a monkey sometimes.” When you reach that level (being monkey), then I can say you’re good at parkour. Not very good, cause there’s one creature best at this: cat. And I think better be like cat than monkey, not because cat having decent face but their movement is so smooth and silent. When you find one, see it yourself.
It’s Suicide!
Am I into that suicidal sport stuff and having a death wish? No I’m not, and yes, people often say this is suicidal sport. Do this properly with enough training and you’ll feel the difference that this sport NOT DANGEROUS AT ALL. It’s an art of movement for God’s sake!
Okay I get it, what’s the catch?

Precision
Efficiency: move from one point to another without wasting your energy.
Speed: move from one point to another without wasting your time.
Economical: move from one point to another without wasting your money.
Artistic: not only fast and efficient but also enjoyable to see.
Back to the suicidal part, now allow me to ask why do people think this sport suicidal and dangerous?
How can I say I’m good at it?
I don’t have specific answer about this. In this sport there’s no grade, no official ranking so if you think you’re good enough then you’ll become more confident and doesn’t feel any hesitation to try every obstacles. Feel your move! If you feel strong enough, smooth enough, balanced, and efficient then I can say you’re good. Another simple way to know is to ask other person to judge your movement.

Reverse
So it is safe..
That’s it, nothing to be argued about suicidal sport. Parkour is safe, dynamic, and full of energy.. cause what we do in parkour is simple: balance, running, precision jump, roll, climbing, and dismount. What about drops? Yes drops included, simple drop. Other than that just a variation if you have enough guts to EXPLORE THE ART.
Still curious and anxious? Then try before you speak..

Lost everything
It’s when I’m lost everything that I’m free to do anything. That’s right. See, when you loose everything you have you can freely do anything you want. But don’t loose everything you have… yet. Enjoy while it lasts. What we have is not permanent, we can loose some, but we’ll gain some more.
I know that I’m not that special snowflake. I’m just ordinary lazy suburban average guy (that’s what everybody says who they are). But I know I’m unique and so does you. I know what makes us unique, it’s not our appearance cause appearance is temporary. When you change your display image you’re then you’re not so special anymore.
There’s one huge thing that makes our self unique, that separate us from another average person, the one thing that gives us status, one thing that gives us power to be unique. (more…)

I'm in debt!
A business executive was deep in debt and could see no way out.
Creditors were closing in on him. Suppliers were demanding payment. He sat on the park bench, head in hands, wondering if anything could save his company from bankruptcy.
Suddenly an old man appeared before him. “I can see that something is troubling you,” he said. After listening to the executive’s woes, the old man said, “I believe I can help you.”
He asked the man his name, wrote out a check, and pushed it into his hand saying, “Take this money. Meet me here exactly one year from today, and you can pay me back at that time.”
Then he turned and disappeared as quickly as he had come.
The business executive saw in his hand a check for $500,000, signed by John D. Rockefeller, then one of the richest men in the world!
“I can erase my money worries in an instant!” he realized. But instead, the executive decided to put the uncashed check in his safe. Just knowing it was there might give him the strength to work out a way to save his business, he thought.
With renewed optimism, he negotiated better deals and extended terms of payment. He closed several big sales. Within a few months, he was out of debt and making money once again.
Exactly one year later, he returned to the park with the uncashed check. At the agreed-upon time, the old man appeared. But just as the executive was about to hand back the check and share his success story, a nurse came running up and grabbed the old man.
“I’m so glad I caught him!” she cried. “I hope he hasn’t been bothering you. He’s always escaping from the rest home and telling people he’s John D. Rockefeller.”
And she led the old man away by the arm.
The astonished executive just stood there, stunned.
All year long he’d been wheeling and dealing, buying and selling, convinced he had half a million dollars behind him. Suddenly, he realized that it wasn’t the money, real or imagined, that had turned his life around.
It was just his newfound self-confidence that gave him the security and power to achieve anything he went after.
Or was it the security in his mind that gave him the confidence.
Its all in the mind…

Be aware
Do you aware of your life? Are you walk through this life unconscious? Look at yourself! what have you achieved until now? Have you ever feel grateful for it? Now if I asked you mention five think in your life that you grateful for, can you mention it in a short time?
Let’s prove it. I’ll give you 10 seconds to think about it starting from… NOW!
See!! You need more than 10 seconds! Most people in the world walk through life in a walking daze. Don’t know what they want, are in life – and they are being tinkered by people that do know. Now wake up from your endless loop of everyday activity, start finding new things, start a revolution in your life. Get outside of your comfort zone. Pick a fight, shake your life. You never know what is out there until you get there and really experience it.
But one think to be remembered, don’t expect you’ll always gonna get good things. Instead, expect anything, accept everything and get the true meaning from every experience. You may find it really hurtful, you also may find it really fun. Whatever you got you must appreciate it. Learn from your experience. That’s what makes your character thick.

Lots of Appreciate..
There are so many test in your life, you have to get used of it. You can’t stop it coming your way. All you can do is get through it. If you sick of it, then you’ll gonna get even sicker and sicker until it reach the level which we called depression. You’ll not gonna like to know what you’ll do next if you reach this level of human state. Have a relaxed mind. Think life as a game that can be played just once and one chance only. If you dead in the game, then you have to throw the video game machine away. Think of life as a one time disposal camera with only one film that you have to take one picture only until you throw the camera away. The goal isn’t to get the best picture, don’t have to get the highest score and listed in a hall of fame.
The goal is to get the perfect moment to get a happiness, play the game for fun. Do everything for fun, if your work never give you happiness, then why work? If your work is boring, you can try to do fun thing with it or find another fun job. You said “but I need this job, I can’t eat without money!“, true, but you eat food not money, you also live from your emotional state “happiness“. By thinking of what you’ve achieved and you grateful for, you already reach 80% of happiness, the other 20% is when you have your next goal and reach it. Strange huh? Why people can’t get their true happiness from what the will have. This is the paradox. That’s why obsession is a killer.
Who’s the most important person in your life this moment? I say this moment, I mean that first person that comes to your mind when I asked the question. What you’ve been grateful for about this person? Even you have bad memories about this person you still have bigger good memories about him or her, do you?

Grateful
See life is all about appreciation. There’s so much positive things inside every negative things. We focus too much to the negative side of a thing or person because we controlled by our emotion. This emotion is pulling your string, you act like a pupet! But don’t fight it, channel it. For example, anger: anger is negative but there’s a huge energy in it. People can swim across the sea because of anger, they can also kill themselves. Then why not using it to break a record for swimming accross the sea? Why not be a hunter and kill animal and sell them? That’s just a small example, I know you’re a smart person and you can think what’s best for you.

I appreciate..
Last words, feel grateful, say thanks, find positive side in everything you see, and smile..NOW!
